Do I really not need to sign up?
Correct. No email, no password, no account. You fill in the form, you get a public URL, an embed snippet, and a private edit link. That's the whole flow.
Is it actually free, or is there a catch?
One widget per role, free forever. We may add optional paid tiers later (think: featuring, multi-role dashboards, custom domains) — but the basic single-widget flow will always be free.
Where is my data stored?
In this MVP, your widget is saved in your browser's localStorage. That means the public page and embed only work for visitors who view it through this site — perfect for testing the design. A backend-backed version is on the way.
What happens if I lose my edit link?
Currently there's no recovery flow — please save the link in your password manager, a note, or an email to yourself. We'd rather not collect emails for resets in the MVP, but that's coming.
How much can I customize the look?
Today: accent color (used for the top bar, button, and chips), apply button text, and the work-mode / job-type chips. The widget shape and typography are fixed so it always looks polished — we'd rather not give you the ability to make it ugly.
Will the iframe slow my site down?
The embed snippet sets loading="lazy" on the iframe, so it only loads when the visitor scrolls near it. Your hero, fold, and Lighthouse score stay clean.
